1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and NionTV Ltd ("NionTV", "we", "us") governing your access to and use of the NionTV website, applications and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, starting a plan or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your place of residence) to create an account and subscribe. The Service is primarily offered to users in the United Kingdom. You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with local laws.
3. Accounts
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for NionTV or other users.
4. Subscriptions & billing
NionTV offers paid plans (Starter, Premium, Ultimate) billed in GBP on a monthly or annual basis. Features, simultaneous streams and resolution limits are described on the Plans page. Fees are charged in advance, automatically renew until cancelled, and may include applicable VAT. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period unless otherwise stated.
5. Licence to use the Service
Subject to these Terms and an active plan where required, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to stream content for personal, non-commercial use on permitted devices. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, reverse engineer, bypass geoblocks or DRM, or use automated means to scrape the Service except as allowed by law.
6. Content & third-party data
Film and TV metadata, artwork and related information may be provided by The Movie Database (TMDB). Football fixtures, scores and statistics may be provided by API-Football / API-Sports. NionTV does not claim ownership of third-party trademarks, club crests or studio titles. Full playback requires an active subscription. Content availability can change without notice.
7. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Service, including by: attempting unauthorised access; interfering with security or performance; sharing account credentials beyond plan limits; uploading malware; harassing others; or using the Service for unlawful purposes. We may investigate and take action, including suspension, where we reasonably believe a violation has occurred.
8. Intellectual property
The NionTV name, logo, UI design, software and original materials are owned by NionTV Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licence above, no rights are granted. Feedback you provide may be used by us without obligation to you.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT THIRD-PARTY DATA (INCLUDING SCORES OR CATALOGUE METADATA) IS COMPLETE OR ACCURATE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED UNDER UK LAW, INCLUDING FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY NEGLIGENCE OR FOR FRAUD.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NionTV Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) £50, except where prohibited.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NionTV Ltd and its officers, directors and employees from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
12. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, liability limits and governing law) will survive termination.
13. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service and these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the revised Terms, except where mandatory law requires express consent.
14. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available in your place of residence in the UK.
